Sunset Sherbet is a cross between a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies (Thin Mint GSC) female and a Pink Panties (Burmese Kush x Florida Kush) male. It is also called Sherbet or Sherb for short. The strain was bred by Mario Guzman, aka Mr. Sherbinski, owner of the Sherbinski’s cannabis brand and legacy member of the Bay Area’s Cookie Family, known for genetics like Gelato, Cherry Pie, of course, Girl Scout Cookies.
Sunset Sherbet came about in the early 2010s, peaking in popularity around 2012. Since then, the world-famous cultivar has been used to breed many other popular strains like Sherbacio and Sherbanger. It is also a parent strain of Gelato, one of the most popular cannabis strains of all time.
Sunset Sherbet can look a variety of ways depending on who grew it, in what environment, and with what level of expertise. You can expect Sunset Sherbet’s medium-to-large-sized nugs to be dense with a vibrant green coloring and a thick coat of white trichomes. In some phenotypes of the strain, those green colors are offset by rich amber hues.
