As mentioned above, Blue Cookies is an indica-hybrid cross between Blueberry and GSC, two equally famous strains of weed.
Blueberry was first created in the 1970s by famed breeder DJ Short, who crossed the landrace strains Thai and Afghani. The result was a berry-forward and impressively potent creation that is still in demand today, five decades after its debut.
GSC is a more modern strain but arguably just as impactful. Made famous by the Cookies cannabis company in 2012, GSC is a cross between OG Kush and Durban Poison. The doughy-sweet strain was groundbreaking for the culture, becoming an important genetic marker for the legion of crosses that came after it.
